One and Done!

 Hows it going everyone! Transfer calls came in on sunday and im leaving the offices! One and done like AJ Dybansta😭 the offices are getting pink washed, meaning that all 4 office elders got transfered and we are now training sister missionaries that will be in the offices! I got transfered to an area called viñas with Elder Peralez, one of the elders who was in the office with me. Before us, viñas had been an area with sister missionaries for about 2 years and now we are going in there to help out the ward! Im really excited and we have the nicest house in the mission so it should be an awespme transfer and we will be able to work a ton!

Work:

This last week we had 3 lessons with Griselda and shes progressing like crazy! We are just waiting on her mom to come back from the united states for her to be baptized! There were also a bunch of financial problems this week with people losing their cards and recieving duplicated money from the bank so that was a hassle to clean up but its okay! We also helped President Castro a lot with transfers this week and making sure everything was ready for him so it was a very stressful but good week! For p day we went paintballing as a zone and it was so awesome i had so much fun!

Spiritual thought:

The spiritual thought today will be a short quick testimony of the atonement! I know that this church is true, i know that jesus christ suffered for your sins and mine, and it is only in and through him that we can be saved. In the garden of gethsemane Jesus Christ took upon him not only our sins, but everything we would ever live in this life. He is our savior, and i promise that if you do everything you can to come closer to him, you will feel the peace and love that only he can provide during our lives. I testify of these thinfs in the name of our lord and savior Jesus Christ, amen.

General Authority Visit

 Hey everyone hows it going? It hasnt been too long since the last email but theres been some cool miracles this week! 

Work:

Ive finally been able to get my comp out working in the streets and weve seen so many miracles! Our friend Norma that we found came to church! She has been the first friend to come to church in our ward in about 3 months! Hopefully we can get her baptized soon, she loved church a ton! We also got visited by a member of the 70, Elder Alonso! He walked into the building and there was this sense of power and spirit around him, it was insane and something ill never forget! He taught us a lot about becoming deciples of jesus christ and how to bring more people unto this wonderful gospel.

Spiritual thought:

I was reading in 2nd Nephi chapter 25 and verse 26 caught my attention, it says: "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins."

We need to focus ourselves on jesus christ in everythinf we do, when we do we prepare the way for the rising generation to know and rejoice in jesus christ. Now more than ever we need to bring souls unto christ and he sees our every attempt to do so! My invitation for you guys this week is to invite someone to church. Even if they don't accept the invitation to come to church the lord will see your efforts!

integrity is the building block for all christlike attributes

 Hey everyone! Hope you guys are all doing well! Ive been missing you guys a ton these last few weeks and ive been crazy swamped in the office!

New Assignment!

My new ward is awesome! They have about 80 members that come each week and its a crazy difference from the little branch i was in before! Im the finance secretary now and ive got a ton of extra responsibilities to take care of in the mission with the money that we spend as a mission amd such! Its very overwhelming most of the time and ive been trying tk get out and work as a normal missionary as much as i can! We will see how it works out though!

The work!

Im going to be completely honest here, when i got to my area the other elders that had worked there the last transfer hadnt made a single phone call, talked to a single new person, had any lessons, or left the office for 6 weeks. I got here and have been trying to revive the area as best i can! We have gotten some promising references the only problem is that its been really hard to get my comp out of the office so we will see what happens.

Spiritual thought:

Something ive been thinking about a lot this week is integrity, it builds the foundation of our character. When we arent striving to have integrity our foundation crumbles. When our foundation crumbles we cannot build other christlike attributes correctly, just like how the first sandstone foundation for the salt lake temple wouldnt have been able to support the weight of the temple. When we replace a cracked foundation with a foundation of integrity we are able to build our spiritual attributes stronger! I invite you all to focus on building your attributes of christ, i promis you you guys will be blessed in ways you couldnt imagine!

Transfers and Baptisms

 Whats going on everyone! This week we had transfers and im finally leaving San Felipe! Im leaving San Felipe to be the finance secretary of the mission! Hopefully itll be a fun next few transfers and i hope to learn a lot! Also, Marco got baptized! He is the son of a member and after 6 months of trying to get him to be baptized he finally did in my last week in San Felipe! What a miracle!

Work:

This last week was really crazy with a lot of goodbyes and a ton of basketball! I had the opportunity to paint a house for one of our recent converts which was awesome! (Also got to watch some March Madness with them it was amazing haha i miss watching the games!) On thursday after we finished painting the house we had a basketball game that was super fun! On saturday i got invited to play in a basketball event and president said i could! We were able to contact people inbetween games and it was awesome playing against really good competition again! That was about it for working this week😂 we visited a bunch of members and converts and i gave a talk in church so i was able to give my last testimony in San Felipe after living there for 6 months!

Spiritual thought:

With general conference and easter coming up this week i want you all to study into the atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ. We have an amazing opportunity to listen to prophets and apostles this week and their divine words of revelation. With Easter as well we often lose sight of what Jesus Christ did for us and just how much he took upon him. One of my favorite scriptures about his atonement comes from Alma 7: 11-13 

I encourage you all to read and study it this week. This scripture has impacted me out here on the mission more than you all will ever know and the power from this scripture doesn't happen by chance. I love you all and hope that these scriptures can deepen your testimony of the atonement of Jesus Christ as they have done for me!
