The Land of the Vines

Whats up everyone! Its been another 2 weeks down here in the paradise of Viñas in Aguascalientes Mexico! I hope you guys are all doing well! This week we had interviews with the mission president and his wife and they asked me to be the English Connect 3 teacher, meaning that i am now teaching all of the missionaries english so thats cool!😂

Work:

The last 2 weeks have been very stressfull, we leave to go train the sister missionaries how to be secretaries every morning and after that we go to member food and work in our area until we get back home around 9. Our area is in the middle of the city and theres a ton of work to do. The last sister missionaries that were in this area left on pretty strained terms with the ward so we are trying to show up and help them out and turn this area around for the better! It sucks not being able to work all day but weve found some really cool people and we hope that they will be progressing! 

Stats:

Eggs: no idea but a lot😅

Record in sports on p day: 2-0🤷‍♂️

Times i got sick from food: 1😭

Friends who came to church sunday: 2🥳

Spiritual thought:

The spiritual thought today is extremely simple! Be kind! In everythingnyou do strive to be kind to others, you never know what someone else is going through. Help them feel the love of their savior by being kind! Strive to aquire on of the saviors greatest attributes, kindness, I promis you guys that you will see miracles in everyday life just from being kind!

One and Done!

 Hows it going everyone! Transfer calls came in on sunday and im leaving the offices! One and done like AJ Dybansta😭 the offices are getting pink washed, meaning that all 4 office elders got transfered and we are now training sister missionaries that will be in the offices! I got transfered to an area called viñas with Elder Peralez, one of the elders who was in the office with me. Before us, viñas had been an area with sister missionaries for about 2 years and now we are going in there to help out the ward! Im really excited and we have the nicest house in the mission so it should be an awespme transfer and we will be able to work a ton!

Work:

This last week we had 3 lessons with Griselda and shes progressing like crazy! We are just waiting on her mom to come back from the united states for her to be baptized! There were also a bunch of financial problems this week with people losing their cards and recieving duplicated money from the bank so that was a hassle to clean up but its okay! We also helped President Castro a lot with transfers this week and making sure everything was ready for him so it was a very stressful but good week! For p day we went paintballing as a zone and it was so awesome i had so much fun!

Spiritual thought:

The spiritual thought today will be a short quick testimony of the atonement! I know that this church is true, i know that jesus christ suffered for your sins and mine, and it is only in and through him that we can be saved. In the garden of gethsemane Jesus Christ took upon him not only our sins, but everything we would ever live in this life. He is our savior, and i promise that if you do everything you can to come closer to him, you will feel the peace and love that only he can provide during our lives. I testify of these thinfs in the name of our lord and savior Jesus Christ, amen.
