The Waters of Baptism

This week was crazy! I havent sent an email for a little while but im hoping to get back on track and be writing a little bit every day so im not trying to fit everything into one long email when i want to enjoy p day haha! But transfer calls came in and im staying in san felipe! My new comp is elder valencia and basically just imagine a mexican version of me and youve got elder valencia! Hes amazing and ive had the most fun on my mission in 4 days with him hahaha! I learned a lot from the first two transfers ive had in the mission and im really excited for this coming transfer!

Well... i hit a game winner in a basketball game hahaha so that was fun(presy approved it haha)
We got invited to play basketball with one of our investigators and we went and it was a full on basketball game! We were down by 9 with a minute left and we came back and won!!

We also got to carry 2 pallets of wood like 2 miles so that we could use them as a bridge to make it to our baptism spot because we had to cross a little river😅 lets just say that straat did me good with those plate runs, i never thought id apply them to a real life situation but... i guess you really did know what you were doing when we had to do plate runs coach!

Me and my comp have been working our butts off this week and we had 9 people come to church and we put 5 people on date!! It was such a successful week and i am so excited to be able to see the lords hand in my area San felipe!! We also had a baptism today! It was our friend jose and i got to baptize him in a lake! It was such an amazing experience and i cant believe that i have the opportunity to watch people come closer to their heavenly father first hand. Its a joy that i cant describe and im so excited for this coming week!

This week we have 3 baptisms planned for our friends martina, michael, And luis! If you guys could keep them in your prayers that would be awesome!

Spiritual thought (thanks elder obispo)
"Dont let the world change you when you were born to change the world" Bradley R. Wilcox
We all need to remember of our divine potential as gods children. We have the opportunity to set the example for the world. this world becomes worse and worse every day, If we let the world change us our souls will be further away from god than ever before. We have the blessing to know the only way to recieve happiness for eternity, so i encourage you all to remember your potential and your blessings, and share them with people. Even if they arent perceptive to the gospel yet, every knee shall bow in remembrance of the lord our savior jesus christ when he comes again. So let us all try to give everyone the same joy we have knowing that jesus christ is our savior and we will experience eternal joy with our families through this everlasting gospel!

Inside joke of the week!
